Nestled in the heart of the village, The Congresbury Arms offers relaxed dining in a cosy country pub setting. Serving modern British pub food made with seasonal ingredients, our menus celebrate the best of the seasons with traditional favourites, tasty tapas, daily specials and our popular Sunday roasts. Whether you're joining us for a leisurely lunch, family dinner or drinks in the garden, you'll always find a warm welcome.

Conveniently located just seven minutes from Junction 21 of the M5 and around 15 minutes from Bristol Airport, The Congresbury Arms is an ideal place to break up a long journey, meet friends or enjoy a relaxed meal before or after a flight. We're also just a short walk from the Strawberry Line, making us a popular stop for walkers and cyclists exploring North Somerset.

Only 30 minutes from Bristol city centre and within easy reach of Cheddar Gorge, the Mendip Hills and Weston-super-Mare, we're perfectly placed for a day out or weekend escape. We are open everyday from 11am for coffee, cake and drinks. 

The kitchen is open to serve you up delicious pub plates from:

Monday to Thursday: 12 noon-3pm & 5.30pm to 8pm

Friday & Saturday: 12 noon- 3pm & 5.00pm -9pm

Sunday: 12 noon-6pm

Do I need to book a table?

We recommend booking, particularly for Friday and Saturday evenings, Sunday lunch and bank holidays. Walk-ins are always welcome when tables are available. We are not able to reserve tables in the garden, but there is plenty of space. Tables can be booked online here, or by calling 01934 782 283.

Is there free parking?

Yes. We have a large car park, which is free for all our customers. You just need to enter your car registration on the tablets by the main pub entrance or on the bar.

Do you accept large group bookings?

Yes! We welcome family celebrations, birthdays and group meals. Please contact us directly on 01934 782 283to discuss your requirements. 

Do you have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options?

Yes. Our menus include vegetarian dishes, vegan choices and gluten-free options, with many dishes that can also be adapted for dietary requirements if you ask your server. Please let us know about any allergies when ordering.

Do you offer a children's menu?

Yes. We have a dedicated children's menu, with main courses costing £8, making The Congresbury Arms a great choice for family meals. The garden has plenty of space for children to explore, mini picnic benches or high chairs for younger diners, and colouring and activity sheets to keep them entertained.

Is your restaurant dog friendly?

Dogs are welcome in our designated dog-friendly areas inside, and in our garden. Please contact us if you'd like to check availability before visiting.
